Winter Terminal at Queenstown Airport
Winter 2014 saw the introduction of an additional temporary terminal at the airport to handle the influx of international visitors to Queenstown. Mike and the RED Events team were busy creating a 'winter wonderland' look for the space, complete with hundreds of sparkling snowflakes, snow-covered mountain scene backdrops, and ice formations, which remained in place over the busy winter months.
Autumn Festival - part 2
Meanwhile Craig Thorburn aided and abetted by friend and colleague Mike went on a rampage through the local countryside and gardens to harvest in a riot of foliage in the most amazing of autumn colours.
Craig then went to work creating very large scale floral art pieces for the festival while leading a master class of enthusiastic locals.

Arrowtown Autumn Festival
As the Arrowtown Autumn Festival Manager Toni was kept very busy and always on the run as she oversaw some 60 + events in just the 10 days that make up this annual community event. From street parades to the pub to pub challenge you could find Toni always keeping things running to schedule. ( Toni would make a great street entertainer being able to keep so many balls in the air all at the same time !!! )
Red Events were the main sponsor of the Arrowtown 30th anniversary ball and took the pearl anniversary into a Great Gastby themed event. What better excuse to break out the strings of pearls , feather boas, fringed frocks and put on the old dancing shoes. A great night of celebration for Arrowtown!
